Collaborative
Final Project.
For collaborative this term , from our original group last term, we have decided to stay together for our next project, as we all worked so well with each other, know each others understanding and know how each of us like to work. With a extra person Alyson with her majestic, beautiful face will come of help with our group.

On day 1 of collab back at witt, we went over some ideas that we all had. As we were sertion on making a short film.
We were thinking a long the lines of death for our inside out theme.
We had to get the ball rolling that day as we all have limited time to get work done and only a few weeks. So we set a side different works that we are each good at,
 shown in the image below.

We had a fear idea on what we were thinking of doing. We then had a meeting on 17th 10th 2014,
we set each of us homework for over the weekend.
As I am starting Make up I thought it would be a good idea to get some inspiration and do some makeup charts.

Here is an Easy way to understand and look at a make up Diagram.

Inspirational.

For this look I like how the eye shadow is darker on the outer lid and lighter on the inner, looks very feminine and flattering. It also makes her look awake and flawless. The lip color is very natural witch is what we are looking for towards the makeup idea for our actress

In this look I like the eye shadow color very subtle but vibrant.
Perfect look for spring. As the lip color in this images is very nice but yet a little to unrealistic.

In this look, what I liked most was the red, not so much what were looking for but I like the lay out of the makeup, can do this look in many different colors.

These last two looks are what I am most happy with, where she looks fresh, awake and more natural looking, light eye shadow on the outer V/Inner corner, nice blush and natural coloreds lips.

My Make Up Charts.

As for my Makeup charts it was a little harder then I expected, I had fun doing these and choosing the right colors for each picture. These colors in each image is not what I'm thinking of doing as they are a little to dark and a little to colorful.
On my first/1 color chart I used my actual makeup, I am more happy with this one, then the rest.
How I went about doing this make up chart was a little more easier than color pencils, I liked to start with the contouring using a contour brush lightly shading around the face, temples of the fore head down check bones, a little on the chin and down the nose to give more of a deeper more thinning effect, I then started on the eye make up using a eyeshadow brush, starting with dark eyeshadow on the outer V and blending/working my way to the inner corner with a lighter much subtle color eyeshadow with a little bit of pink for that pop of color to add to the spring effect, Next I went in and did the eyebrows with a eye brow brush using a dark but not to dark color blending out and shaping the brow to frame the face, I then started on the lips as I did not want to use actual lip lacker I used the same pink eye shadow on her eyes adding a bit of dry water color to give more dimension.

In these last two color charts I am using normal color pencils. I find I am not happy with these ones as I am with the first one as it is harder to blend the color out to my standards.
How I went about making this look.
As I did with the first one I started with contouring the face as I found that it is the easiest way to start the make up chart, with a nude colored pencil at the temples of the fore head and down to check bones, chin and then nose, I then wanted to go in and do the lips with a orange/red color pencil, staying between the lines for a nicer cleaner effect, next I did the eye brows with a black pencil running lightly over the brow as it was a little harder to blend with pencil you can see the stroke lines and last I did the eye make up using a orange, pink and yellow pencils, I started with the red from past the eye brows to almost half way on the eye lid then using the pink mostly over the lid and last using the yellow on the middle of the eye lid completing that make up look.

For my last make up chart I used both make up and pencil to have this effect.
the only place I am using make up is the contouring around the face, I have slightly darkened the contouring on the check bones and chin testing and trying out some options, i then started to color the eyelid with yellow and pink trying to shad the yellow towards the eyebrow and the pink mostly over the top and bottom lids, i then started coloring the eye brows with black and brown color pencils and using the same pink coloring pencil for the lips completing this look.

Here are a few images of Kates props/ boats for our footage, she also helped with most of the floral props and the grave yard cross prop as well.

So we then needed to decide on were we are going to film our footage, we chose a couple of different areas to do this but we then set on one place and that was Tupare, It was the best place to have a different feeling towards the watcher than other most common places just so people don't know / understand the landscape.

On our first day of shooting footage, we started with makeup as soon as possible to get as much footage as we could on that day. It was a good day and nice weather to start our first day of shooting.

For Allys make up I didn't want to make it to over whelming, so all I did was use eye shadow blending that out on the outer v over the eye lid and using a lighter color on the inner corner of the eye, We all thought it would be good to use a little bit of lipstick just for depth and so her face had a little color. We also used the lipstick to Charly as she didn't need anything other than that applied to her face.

Allys make up more natural and flawless

For our inside out idea is that Charly (little girl) sees Alley (mom) dead or past away and there together but not really, we have got flash backs showing that Charlie is actually by her self and not with her mom.

Some images that we have of footage used in our film. Theses photos are not in order.

Kates boats that are used in this scene.

Here is some of the short film still in progress.
We have watched this many times, we have noticed a lot of flaws and bits and bobs that we know to fix.

As time progressed and Jay and
Logan were fixed to the computers for the last of the following weeks with the help of Pastels motivation to wards them and all of us, long nights
of editing from theses two was all a great team effort. After a few extra tweaks for editing our video it is now public ready to view.

Our finished video for our collab group, i am really pleased with the out come in this video and how much work every one has put in to it in class and out of class time.
This is actually not our final video as we have seen some eras and fixed some problems we have noticed while watching the video over time.
We have also change the video and converted it into a 3D aspect as we had the time and courage to do so before hand in, we also thought it would be a good idea.
The video was to large to upload to blogger but have the URL below...

So seeing as we have made this change of making it 3D, we then had to make some 3D glasses for our collab class for when we presented our video.

This is our group put together as the loading screen for our video.
We had an idea with changing the opacity on our characters and went with it,
instead of the the light grey colour we changed it to a darker more intense back/grey.
Then under the image of the group will be a loading sign and symbols.
After the loading page will be the credits.

Each individual from our group had set tasks to complete over the week.
Logan created mouse cursers and arrows that will be placed within the project.
Pastel and i created character drawings, Kate created cards that our characters profile will be placed on, and jay created the start of our project within after effects.

We discussed ideas for the backgrounds and card design as we ran into a few issues with the design itself. In the end we decided on a final format that we will use. As showing in the image below.

We decided the way of our evaluation of each individual, was done with the power bars and placed on our character bars.
We all went a way and came back with what we contribute to our group.
So strength was how you applied your power.
Power was what you brought to the team
and
Stamina was your a attendene and attitude to the group.
The power bars i am using is Kates as she is the demonstration above.

For the 3rd week Pastel and I brought in our drawings of each characters. We decided on drawing from the hips up just to show who our characters are and what they look like.
Our group then were working on computers from here on in.
After lots of hard work and consistency from each of us we have come up with the final ideas and set home work for each of us to bring for the following week.

For the second week of collab our group decided on making a video gaming profile, selection.
we also chose that we would all have a character for each person of our group and we all decided on villeins.
This is our idea that we came up with from the question sheet from the first week We also made a FB page to keep in contact if we missed a day or just to catch up after class hours.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1489104584661848/

Pastel and I decided that we should get some things drawn up of each of us to bring for the following week as it was our starting point before the others would work on the computer as this is more their strengths

These are some of the ideas that we were thinking of to get things going but we would draw more manga to our characters.

Collaborative class we were all put into groups of which one group included Pastel, Jay, Kate, Logan and my self.

For our groups first day of collab we decided that we would make a list of the same questions for each student to fill out, we then finished and discussed each of our answers between us, This was a good way to get to know each other and get some ideas for our project.
